July 1, 2022

The Hindu indigenous population’s architectural heritage and culture in many parts of the world continues to be phenomenal yet widely under-represented. Aiming to revive and restablish traditional ways of deity-making and the art of temple architecture KDC birthed KAILASA’s Sacred Arts Univercity to demonstrate its unparalleled legacy that spans millennia of craftsmanship sourced from artisans, celebrates a heritage of some of the world’s oldest art and innovation.

The Hindu indigenous perfection of Vedic Architecture is scientifically proven to have characteristic and geometric configuration of the Hindu temple, built with extraordinary precision. KDC aims to revitalize Hinduism’s extraordinary array of artisanal craftsmanship, increase job opportunities in vital roles of the Hindu society and to credit artisans as owners of their creative process globally.

The SPH has guided every aspect of temple and temple arts – from the size, shape, material, structure, the size of the halls, pillars, courtyard, the facing directions, to the process of installing the deity and the art forms used, as per Vedagamas, the source scriptures such as ‘Sthapathya Veda’ or ‘Vastu Shastra’ or ‘Shilpa Shastra’.

At the delicate age of 9 years, The SPH was blessed with the darshan of Devi at Annamalaiyar temple, Thiruvannamalai. Soon after that he went home and carved this beautiful deity of Devi Paramashivashakthi out of soapstone. When He shared the darshan with His guru, Ragupathi Yogi, checked The SPH’s nadi (energy channels) and confirmed that He indeed had been exposed to a very high frequency vibration (darshan).

This is the first personally carved deity by The SPH which marks the inception of the Sacred Arts Univercity.

In 1987, at the age of 10 The SPH had the darshan of the Sri Chakra – the sacred Cosmic geometry, which He inscribed on this copper sheet with the compass needle of a geometry box. Shocked at His impeccable reproduction of the complex geometry from the darshan alone, His Vedanta, Tantra and Sri Vidya Guru, Mata Vibhutananda Puri, immediately initiated The SPH into Sri Vidya worship.

Sri Vidya is the worship of the universal cosmic mother through The Sri Chakra. This is the first personally etched sheet metal work which grown today multifold.

The Rudraksha is a true bio-jewellary which is one of the most sacred manifestations of Paramashiva. Paramashiva unveils various details of its usage and its benefits in the Hindu Scriptures.

Collected 20 ton rudrakshas over the years to protect the sacred element of the Shivite tradition of worship.
